American and Colombian Curriculum: we are the only U.S. oriented coeducational prep school in Bogota accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Colombian Ministry of Education.  English is the official language of instruction and everyday life at CNG. All classes are in English except Spanish and Colombian Social Studies.
  2. Multicultural:Over 450 students at CNG come from abroad and over 375 have dual citizenship. Our student body represents over 33 nationalities and 12 religions from around the world.
  3. Size matters: CNG’s enrollment is 1800 students, divided into four schools (Primary, Elementary, Middle and High), with a maximum class size of 23 students per class and an average class size of 21. Our student to faculty ratio is 6:1.
  4. Feel at home:We value the importance of smooth transitions. We have 2 guidance counselors in every school and 4 in High School. We have new student adaptation protocols tomake sure all students feel welcome. Our Buddy/Ambassador program is an essential component of our new students’ adaptation.

  7. A rich, differentiated curriculum that promotes academic excellence:  We offer over 170 courses in High School including 20 Pre AP courses and 20 AP courses in every subject area to maximize individual potential. 
  8. If I can’t learn the way you teach, can you teach the way I learn? CNG’s Learning Center is world-known for supporting students with minor to moderate or even severe learning needs. We have over 50 learning center specialists to support students according to their specific needs.
  9. Explore different talents:  mountain biking, ballet, wind instruments, cooking, … CNG offers over 30 different co-curricular activities, without having to set a foot outside our campus.
  10. Play a team sport: Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Hockey (street) and Gymnastics are some of the team sports that we offer at CNG.
  11. Learn new languages:  in addition to English and Spanish, CNG students have the opportunity to learn Mandarin and French. We are the only k-12th grade school in the region to host a confucious classroom within our school.
  12. Be involved:  We believe that it is of critical importance that studentsare involved and through their involvement help to shape the school. As stated in our school’s mission, we are in the process of developing leaders for today and tomorrow. Student organizations are a key way for this to occur. NHS, NJHS, Student Council, Leadership, Ambassadors, MUN, House Captians and Top Dogs are some of the organizations that exist at CNG.
  13. CNG students care: CNG students are involved in over 14 social responsibility projects from K4 through 12th grade.
  14. What about your future? Two full-time college counselors work with all High School students helping them understand their interests, values and aptitudes, choose possible careers and guide them through the university admissions process, be it locally or abroad. In addition,over 100 colleges and university visit the school every year.  
  15. Location: Our beautiful school campus islocated on AvenidaCircunvalar and 70th street, up in the eastern mountains surrounding the city. This area is part of the Rosales Neighborhood, one of the well-known residential areas in Bogota and minutes away from the city’s largest financial and business district, Avenida Chile. The school’s location is privileged as it has easy access to the north and south of the city. Most of the students attending CNG live in the surrounding neighborhoods, allowing for relatively short commute times and easy participation from parents.
